Children love to keep busy whether they are playing indoors or outdoors. You can find them moving around with their stuff clustered in their hand carts with a world of adventurous ideas. A hand cart is seen as a child’s most faithful companion while he is strolling down the block. If not that, bikes and scooters are the option most of the children would turn to. Even though some children are not so adventurous and prefer to remain docile in their rooms, they still have a lot of adventure in their minds. Every child likes to have fun and they constantly look for new ways of having fun. Below is a list of top ten favorite fun activities of children:
1. The best activity for children is the cardboard box. There a lot of ways children will put them to use. Girls will like to make doll houses out of it, and boys will like to make it a platform for their experimental ideas. Many children will also find it useful for their science project.

2. Lego is an all time favorite for all children. Different shapes and buildings made from Lego are a delight to children.
3. Puppets have been around for a very long time. Puppets and paper dolls are items that are always loved by a child. Early learning, like the one given by the Sesame Street characters not only help the child picture the world around him but also learn from it.
4. Children love to play and thus skateboards, roller blades, bikes and scooters are a child’s joy. Children will enjoy a little independence when they play or move around on their bikes on their own.
5. Almost every child is a born artist! Art and craft activities are liked by nearly all children. Kids will love to paint their masterpieces.
6. Children also like to listen to stories and even tell of their own. Story time can be made real fun with the children as they will look for essence of adventure in what you are telling and what they have to tell.
7. A walk with a pet dog is the most common activity many children like. On an evening walk, children will like to head to the nearby park and play ball or Frisbee. While on the walk, they will also like to have a hot dog or candy. This will seem like a little picnic to the kids.
8. Baking or helping the mother in the kitchen is also what children, usually girls, will like. Baking cookies or muffins for the girls’ scout is something they will take pleasure in.
9. Treasure hunt activity game is also liked by most of the children. You hide something anywhere around and the clues provided by you will lead the child to find the treasure. It is just like hide and seek the only difference is that people do not hide, in fact they find the lost treasure.
10. Playing with jigsaw puzzles is something nearly all children like. To keep themselves occupied for long, many children will like to solve puzzles with many pieces and the ones that are hard to solve.
