Diversey And Feeding America Open Computer Literacy Lab
RACINE – Diversey Inc. and Feeding America of Eastern WisconsinWednesday celebrated the grand opening of a computer literacy labgeared toward teaching children basic computer skills.
The computer lab, at Wayman A.M.E. Church, 424 N. MemorialDrive, is a joint project between Kids Caf and Diversey’s 2010summer intern class.

Working with the Kids Caf program, the intern class arranged thedonation of nine computers for the lab which will be dedicated toproviding learning activities for children. The interns alsocreated an educational curriculum to help instructors teachchildren how to use computers and integrate them into a learningprogram.
Kids Caf provides at-risk children with a safe and enrichingenvironment designed to produce positive learning experiences. Theprogram offers children nutritious meals once a week and two hoursof after-school program activities.
